Tickets may fall by the wayside and defendants may not be held accountable if they are not properly entered electronically.
What is the Business Problem or Opportunity
During the VRV process, tickets that are issued to a Federal Government vehicle are being rejected and not entered electronically. They are being rejected because JIS does not use GS and uses AA instead.
Please add a code of GS in the State field for parking tickets.
Expected Benefit:
This will help with electronic downloads of VRV tickets from private vendor.
GS is more correct than AA. GS actually appears on federal government license plates. AA does not and is not accurate.
ATS (automated traffic systems) is the vendor that we use. ATS is also used by Lynnwood Municipal, Renton Municipal, Seattle Municipal, Des Moines, etc.
Many courts would benefit from this code.
