Request Type: Change or Enhancement
Which Systems are affected? Juvenile and Corrections System (JCS)
Business Area: DOL
Communities Impacted: Juvenile Court Administrators
Public and Other Users
Impact if not Resolved: High
Impact Description:
This request is relatively low-impact; juvenile courts currently access this data via other means on an as-needed basis. Failure to implement this request would simply mean a continuation of their current business process for fetching DOL information for juveniles.
What is the Business Problem or Opportunity
RightNow incident #121002-000048 (ClearQuest defect 18921) from Pierce County Juvenile Court requests that Department of Licensing (DOL) information be added to JCS similar to the DOL information currently available in JABS. This service would utilize the DOL ADR services currently being adapted for use in JABS in order to provide the same type of information for juveniles eligible for licensing by the Department of Licensing.
This request would also serve as a training opportunity for AOC resources responsible for supporting JCS.
Expected Benefit:
Juvenile courts have access to similar data available in JABS without actually needing JABS access; limited uniPaaS resources available to ISD have a better-trained backup in case of issues.
