What is the Business Problem or Opportunity

Yakima County Clerk's Office is interested in E-filing for our Odyssey DMS system. E-filing is highly needed in this day and time for access to the office without having to go to the courthouse/office. I am continually getting request from the public and the Bar Assoc. when or if we are getting any type of E-filing.

Expected Benefit:

Improved customer services and access by eliminating requirement to file paper documents.

Improved efficiencies using electronic workflows, work queues, digital signatures, etc.

Reduced operation cost and increased productivity through automation of current paper based processes.

Eliminates a substantial amount of storage space currently required for paper documents.

Eliminates collection effors requred by fax filings

Any Additional Information:

E-filing is over due here in our county. Our Bar and the public would benifit from this service. It would also eliminate the amount of people in the office at one time. Staff would be able to process their work without so many interuptions. In the end it would be less work.
