LAW TABLE

A condensed version of the Law Table for local or statewide laws can be prepared as needed from the Misc. Reports Selection screen (MRS). Refer to the JIS Online Manual, Law List (Bail Schedule) Report topic for more information.

A detailed Statewide Law Table is available on the Inside Courts Web site under Court Resources > Court Management. The Law Table is available for download as either an Adobe PDF document or an Excel Spreadsheet. The detailed Statewide Law Table includes all currently effective entries in the statewide law table (Fine Penalty Schedule - FPSU) sorted by law number. Laws that were recently added or changed are usually highlighted in the file. However, if the majority of laws were changed, none of the new laws will be highlighted in the file, but please note the begin effective dates of the laws. Refer to the Recent Updates section of each of the online manuals for details on large scale updates such as those due to legislative changes.

Courts can request a detailed version of the Law Table at any time for either statewide or local laws from AOC Customer Services. These reports are routed to the court’s print domain and can be either printed or transferred/downloaded to a local word processing application. Entry of Local Laws
Local laws are entered into the law table using the Fine/Penalty Schedule Update screen (FPSU). This table contains an entry for each local ordinance including the law number, title, effective dates, fine/penalty amount, case type, caseload case type, BARS under which fines/penalties are reported, and "flags" which determine how a case is handled (i.e. FTA-able, warrantable, mandatory court appearance, etc.). Entry of Statewide Laws
State laws and regulations (RCW's and WAC's) are entered into the statewide law table by AOC Court Services. Please contact Michelle Pardee (michelle.pardee@courts.wa.gov) with any questions.
