Judge Jay Levy has been asked to participate on a new city transition team. The new city is putting together a transition team to prepare recommendations for adoption by the new city council once they are elected and take office.


One of the issues for study is whether the new city should file its citations in the existing court or set up a new municipal court and whether it can set up a municipal violations bureau within the district court.
