  • CJC Canon 4(C) permits a judge to serve on a board that is devoted to the law, the legal system and the administration of justice.
  • CJC Canon 5(G) prohibits a judicial officer from accepting appointment to a governmental position hat is concerned with issues of fact or policy on matters other than the improvement of the law, the legal system and the administration of justice.
  • CJC Canon 4(B) permits a judge to appear at a public hearing on matters concerning the law, the legal system and the administration of justice.
