Communications and Public Outreach

The Office of Communications and Public Outreach serves as the central communications office for media and public inquiries and requests concerning Washington’s judicial branch of government. In addition to providing guidance and support to judges and court personnel in matters of media relations, the office is involved with community outreach and the staffing of several committees.

Media Relations

• Responds to media requests
• Assists with media interviews
• Promotes court programs or activities
• Provides the media with public information about court cases and schedules,
  procedures, policies, press releases and background information for editorials.
