Administrative Office of the Courts Launches New Podcast, “Washington Courts Report”; First Episode Features Therapeutic Courts

The Administrative Office of the Courts’ Office of Communications and Public Outreach has launched a new podcast to provide the public and court community with insights into news and developments within the AOC and the Washington court system.

The first episode of “Washington Courts Report” covers efforts and events that happened during Washington’s Therapeutic Court Month in May. Highlights include the launch of Washington’s Therapeutic Court Alumni Association, a new tool to help therapeutic courts assess racial and ethnic disparities, a recent proclamation from the governor, and Washington representation at a national conference for treatment and therapeutic court professionals.

Hosted by AOC Communications Officer Patric Haerle, new episodes will release monthly on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Episodes will also be sent out with the Washington Courts Daily eClips upon release, and will be posted to the Washington Courts Facebook and AOC LinkedIn.
