In a community visit on March 13th, the Washington State Supreme Court will call Starting at · No. 72515-2, City of Seattle (respondent) v. Crispin (petitioner) Whether the division of land that created a lot qualified as a boundary line adjustment for purposes of the exemption from the platting/subdivision statutes set forth in RCW 58.17.040(6). · No. 73255-8, In re the Personal Restraint Petition of Turay, Richard Turay (petitioner); State (respondent) Whether, in this proceeding to commit the petitioner as a sexually violent predator, instituted after his 18-month parole for a sex crime had recently been revoked, the State was required to plead and prove a “recent overt act.” · Bar No. 04851-7 In re the matter of Jerry Kagele, Attorney at Law Immediately following arguments on the first two cases, the justices will conference on the cases in private until The Washington Supreme Court has made community visits throughout the state since 1985, which are open to the public. Though still cameras are generally allowed, the court asks that no flash, other lights, or noisy film advance mechanisms be used during the hearings. Written opinions will be rendered approximately three to six months after oral argument.
