Guardian Program Proposed Rules Archive

110 - Fees and Filing Requirements Table

Within the proposed regulation revision, additions and deletions are indicated by underlining and lining out respectively, except where the entire regulation is new.

Purpose:

The Applications Regulations contain information on two different subject matters: (1) applications for guardians and agencies; and (2) ongoing certification maintenance requirements for guardians and agencies. The regulations have been separated into two chapters Regulation 100 Applications Regulations and Regulation 700 Certification Maintenance Regulations. There isn't overlap in the content, and separation provides greater clarity.

The revisions also achieve maximum processing effectiveness and efficiency, by reducing and/or eliminating duplicative reviews and facilitating decision making at the lowest most appropriate level. Operational decisions including processing and approving agency applications for certification; requests for continuing education, inactive status and voluntary surrender; processing decertification for failure to pay dues, fulfill continuing education requirements, complete annual disclosure, and errors and omissions declarations will be made by AOC staff.
