Art of Resistance & Resilience is a social and environmental justice based art club at Franklin High School in Seattle, WA. The locally acclaimed multidisciplinary student-led art club creates community-based, collaborative public art projects that promote social and environmental justice themes of student choosing.

The intent behind this painting is to invoke the image of range and anger the younger generation feels towards our current political and justice system and what we are willing to do to get our point across. The statue of Lady Justice looks over the chaos of her surroundings, with injustice, environmental destruction, death, and racism reigning supreme. She is not blind, she just needs to look without the cloth of America covering her vision.
You just have to look. Don't dilute, don't water us down.
