3. TEXT OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS FOR COURT RULES

   This Part contains the text of the task force's recommended amendments to the various rules affecting time-for-trial issues. The proposals are presented here in legislative bill format in order to show the how the proposals compare with the existing rule. Language that the task force proposes to add is underlined; language that the task force proposes to delete is stricken out.

   The same proposals are also set forth in Appendix G, but not in legislative bill format. Appendix G thus shows how the court rules would read if the recommendations are adopted. The minority counter-proposal for CrR 4.1 is included at Appendix H.
