If
you were able to successfully access the speaker icon in the taskbar
and adjust your volume in the prior screen, skip the rest of this
screen and click "Next" now.
However, if you were not able to access the
speaker icon in the taskbar and adjust your volume in the prior
screen, do the following.
In the lower left corner of your computer monitor,
click on "Start." Then, depending on your computer,
click on either "Settings/Control Panel" or "Control
Panel." Next, depending on your computer, double click on
either "Multimedia," "Sounds and Multimedia,"
or "Sounds and Audio Devices."
Click to choose "Show/place volume control/icon in the taskbar."
Click "Apply" and "OK."
Now, the speaker icon
should be located in your lower right taskbar. Click on the speaker.
This should open a volume control on your screen above the speaker
icon.
Set the volume to a mid range location by clicking and dragging
the slider. If you have a problem,
please contact your local information technology (IT) staff.
After you have set your volume control level, click “Next”
to continue.
