Judge Anne L. Ellington

Judge Ellington graduated from University of Washington School of Law in 1974. She served as law clerk to the Honorable Orris Hamilton of the Washington State Supreme Court from 1974 to 1975. She served as an Assistant Attorney General representing the Washington State Human Rights Commission from 1975 to 1978. She was a partner in the law firm of Ellington and Johansen, with a practice focusing on employment law, personal injury, and family law from 1978 until 1984, when she was elected to the King County Superior Court. In 1995, she was appointed to the Washington State Court of Appeals. She retired from the Court of Appeals in October of 2012 and is now at JAMS mediation and arbitration services.
