Judge Solie M. Ringold

Judge Solie M. Ringold, a Seattle native, earned his law degree from the University of Washington.

Judge Ringold worked in the King County Prosecutor’s Office and later maintained a general law practice until 1961, when he was appointed to King County Superior Court. Judge Ringold spent 16 years as a superior court judge before his appointment to the Washington State Court of Appeals by Governor Dixy Lee Ray in 1978. While on the Court of Appeals, Judge Ringold served as chief judge of Division One and presiding chief judge of the court. Judge Ringold retired from the Court of Appeals in 1988.
