Born in Denver, Colorado January 28, 1929. Moved from Denver to Seattle when he was 3, where his father established an automobile business. Graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle. Went to Seattle University, then University of Washington Law School. Practiced from 1954, co-founded Siderius, Lonergan & Martin, LLP law firm in 1959. Was appointed to Seattle Municipal Court, then King County Superior court during 70s until his appointment to Court of Appeals by Governor Dixy Lee Ray. He served at the Court of Appeals from 1981 to his death on February 8, 1986.
