Yes, CJC Canon 7(B)(2) does not place any limitations of the persons who a judicial candidate may select to serve as an honorary chair.

Opinion 96-15. Would it be appropriate if he were to ask representatives of both major parties to serve as honorary chairs?

The candidate may ask members of both major parties to serve as honorary chairs. If a judicial candidate decides to list individuals who are elected partisan officials as honorary campaign chairs, the candidate should take precautions to diffuse the appearance of the candidate's political party affiliation.
