Canon 7 (A) (1) (b) prohibits a judicial officer from publicly
endorsing a non-judicial candidate for public office. (Opinion

Canon 7 (A) (2) states that judicial officers shall not identify
themselves as members of a political party and that they may not
contribute to a political party.

Canon 7 (A) (4) states that judges must resign from office
when they become a candidate for any non-judicial office. (Opinion
