Washington Courts: Press Release DetailNew Dashboard Reporting Tool Offers Enhanced Way to Explore Court DataAugust 18, 2025
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Dashboard Reporting Tool (DRT) — a new, user-friendly platform that provides interactive access to caseload data and key court metrics. Through a series of dynamic dashboards, the DRT will allow users to visualize and explore court trends through access to centralized data visualizations for in-depth analysis and reporting. The dashboards currently available are:
“The benefit for the public is having court data that's an interactive display in a consistent look and feel, so that they know where and how to get the core data,” Charlene Allen, DRT Administrator, said. “We want to make data real, so that they can interact with it and get what they need out of it by self-service instead of having fixed reports.” The project is a result of two years of collaborative effort between the AOC’s Washington State Center for Court Research (WSCCR) and AOC’s Office of Enterprise Data. “For us, the DRT provides an opportunity to share court data with the public to make it more accessible and understandable for everyone,” Rachael Sanford, a Data Visualization Specialist for WSCCR, said. “Having access to reliable and timely information about court operations is essential for public trust and confidence in the courts.” CONTACT: Patric Haerle, AOC Communications Officer, 360-712-1892, Patric.Haerle@courts.wa.gov.
