Dashboard Reporting Tool (DRT)

Welcome to the Dashboard Reporting Tool (DRT) — a new, user-friendly platform from The Washington State Center for Court Research and Administrative Office of the Court's Office of Enterprise Data Services. The DRT provides interactive access to caseload data and key court metrics and allows users to visualize and explore court trends through dynamic dashboards that are both informative and intuitive.

Annual Protection Orders

The Annual Protection Orders dashboard is used to show criminal and non-criminal orders and case filings based on requirements in RCW 9.41.801(12). Orders excluded from this report are orders modifying, reissuing, or terminating an existing order. This is to prevent counting issued twice to provide an accurate picture of the number of ex parte and full orders issued Statewide.

Trial Courts

The Caseload Dashboard is used to show Case Filing activity for the Superior Court and Courts of Limited Jurisdiction in the state of Washington.

Crime Victim Services

The Crime Victim Services dashboard provides an interactive directory of crime victim services searchable by service type, county and tribal affiliation.

Dependency

The Dependency Dashboard is a comprehensive online tool that is updated with new data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The Dependency Dashboard provides the public and the courts vital information into how our court system is performing in finding permanent outcomes for dependent children.

Disparity in Criminal Case Filings

This dashboard describes the disproportionality in criminal case filings in the intersection of race and gender and which charges are driving disproportionality across jurisdictions and populations.

Juvenile Justice

This collection of dashboards presents data on juvenile justice at key decision points. Currently, it includes dashboards for arrest/law enforcement and juvenile court data. Additional dashboards – covering juvenile detention, recidivism, and the relationship between victims and youth – are in development. We expect the full suite to be completed by the end of 2025.

Language Interpretation Needs

To assist development of language access plans, the Language Interpreter Needs dashboard describes the prevalence of requests for spoken language interpretation by court and language, comparing request frequency to court service area population characteristics.
