2009-1 Time Allotted for Argument

GENERAL ORDER 2009-1

RE:  TIME ALLOTTED FOR ARGUMENT (SUPERSEDING GENERAL ORDER 2003-3)

     Rules of Appellate Procedure 11.4(a) and 17.5(d) provide that each division of the Court of Appeals defines the amount of time each side is allowed for oral argument.  Accordingly it is hereby

ORDERED that General Order 2003-3 is superseded.  It is further

ORDERED that each side in an oral argument before a judicial panel is allotted a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes or as otherwise ordered by the Chief or Presiding Judge.

Each side in an oral argument before a commission is allotted ten (10) minutes per side.
