Pursuant to Supreme Court Order 25700-A-476 which authorizes the Court to establish local rules regarding the use of videotape records on appeal, the following rule is hereby adopted:

In order to participate in the experimental project regarding the use of videotape as the record on appeal, Division I of the Court of Appeals will permit any case which meets the criteria of Paragraph 3(C) of the Supreme Court order and in which trial commenced after June 1, 1992, to proceed pursuant to that Order, except that indigent criminal appeals in which the Washington Appellate Defender Association has been appointed as counsel on appeal will be provided a transcript;.
