Judge Lisa L. Sutton![]() Judge Lisa L. Sutton was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee and subsequently elected in November 2014 to a six year term on the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II, in Tacoma, WA. Judge Sutton also served as a Superior Court Judge for the Thurston County Superior Court. Prior to joining the bench, Judge Sutton served as Senior Counsel and Assistant Attorney General for 24 years in the Attorney General's Office under Attorneys General Rob McKenna, Christine O. Gregoire and Ken Eikenberry. As an appellate judge, Judge Sutton strives to write clear and concise opinions. Her favorite volunteer activity is to serve as a judge at the YMCA Mock Trial Competition held in March at the Thurston County Superior Court. |
