SYNOPSIS: Covell Paul Thomas appeals his conviction for aggravated first degree murder and his sentence of death.  He contends that the trial court made several incorrect rulings during jury selection as well as numerous erroneous evidentiary rulings.  Thomas also argues that erroneous jury instructions given during his trial violated his constitutional rights.
