SYNOPSIS: A Washington court rule prevents a plaintiff who twice dismissed a case involving the same matter and same defendant from filing a third lawsuit against the defendant on that matter.  The Court decides whether a stipulated dismissal or court ordered dismissal triggers this “two dismissal” rule.

SYNOPSIS: A juvenile driver was found guilty of vehicular homicide and three counts of reckless endangerment.  She argues that, rather than charging her with one count of reckless endangerment for each of her surviving three passengers, the State should have been limited to charging her with a single count of reckless endangerment for her conduct in causing one accident.
