SYNOPSIS: The petitioners were convicted of rendering criminal assistance to Maurice Clemmons after he killed four Lakewood Police Officers. They were also convicted of possessing one of the slain officer's service pistols. The court must decide whether the State presented sufficient evidence at trial that the petitioners illegally possessed the stolen firearm and whether the "destructive impact on a person other than the victim" sentence aggravator applies to the petitioners' convictions for rendering criminal assistance.
