LIST OF ATTORNEYS QUALIFIED FOR APPOINTMENT
IN DEATH PENALTY CASES

Pursuant to SPRC 2 and RAP 16.25, the Supreme Court Capital Counsel Panel is charged with recruiting and maintaining a list of attorneys qualified for appointment in death penalty trials, appeals and personal restraint petitions. To maintain the list, the list shall be reviewed on at least an annual basis to ensure that each attorney continues to demonstrate the proficiency and commitment to quality representation which is appropriate to a capital case and continues to demonstrate learning in the law of capital punishment through training or experience. The Panel will also seek to recruit additional attorneys by soliciting additional applicants on at least an annual basis. The following lawyers have applied for placement on the qualifications list and are qualified, according to the Panel, for appointment in death penalty cases as set out below:
