Local Criminal Rule 7.2 SENTENCING (e) Pre-Sentence Reports. Pre-sentence reports may be ordered by the Court from one or more of the following sources: (1) The Washington State Office of Adult Probation and Parole. (2) The Prosecuting Attorney and defense counsel. All pre-sentence reports should present alternatives to incarceration in those cases in which it may appear that the public security can be accomplished and the defendant's behavior altered by such an alternative. All pre-sentence reports should indicate the loss or injury to the victim by description and in dollar amounts where applicable. Immediately upon the Court's ordering of a pre-sentence investigation, the clerk shall notify the Washington State Office of Adult Probation and Parole. [Adopted Effective April 1, 1986]
