Motions for Discretionary Review of Specified Final Decisions

Submitted by the Board of Governors of the Washington State Bar Association

Purpose: This amendment is prompted by suggested new RAP 18.13A, which addresses Supreme Court Review of decisions by the Court of Appeals on accelerated review relating to juvenile dependency dispositional orders or orders terminating parental rights. This amendment provides a corollary reference in RAP 13.5A(3) to suggested new RAP 18.13A(j), which would expand the number of circumstances under which a party may seek discretionary Supreme Court review.
