Good Morning -
I am requesting that the CSP screen be updated for Washington CLJ and Districit courts that have chosen to do case counting in their court per the Washington State Supreme Court Order #25700-A-1004, regarding "Case Limit Guidelines Effective September 2013.
In order for any query to be accurate, the CSP screen needs to have a place where you can enter the date, that the attorney came on board for a PV, if it is the same attorney that was on board for guilty plea and sentencing, (Aty 1). There is no query that has been built, or would be accurate to pick up PV's. This would allow the PAR screen to show accurate information of the date when the attorney was appointed for the PV on "Begin effective date".
Current practice is when an attorney is appointed on a NEW case you enter that attorney on the CSPA screen which becomes (Aty 1). The attorney walks the case all the through to guilty plea and sentencing, the court then goes to CSP to inacttivate the attorney.
However, if that same attorney 6 months down the road is appointed for a pv on that same case, then we go to the CSP screen to activate the attorney again, but there is no place to enter a date for when we actually reactivated (Aty 1) back on the case for a PV.
In order for our court and other courts to be in compliance of the Washington Supreme Court Order #25700-A-1004 regarding "Case Limit Guidelines Effective September 2013" , the CSP screen needs to be updated, for accuracy and court case counting effecientcy.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
