11. JUVENILE RESPONDENTS SENTENCED

A sentence is counted only for a juvenile respondent with a judgment of guilty based on the SCOMIS sentence screen information. A respondent's sentence is recorded in the offense reporting category that corresponds to the most serious charge resulting in a conviction.

Place an "X" on the SCOMIS sentence screen for each category that pertains to the most serious charge resulting in a conviction on a respondent's sentence.

Each guilty juvenile respondent will have his or her sentencing counted into one of five categories according to the following.

11.A. COMMUNITY SUPERVISION ONLY

If a juvenile respondent is not sentenced to spend time in detention, and is not committed to a state or local institution, but is sentenced to community supervision, then the sentence is counted in this category.
