Mandatory Continuing Judicial Education Compliance Report

General Rule 26 (GR 26) – Mandatory Continuing Judicial Education

GR 26 (a) requires that each judicial officer complete a minimum of 45 credit hours of judicial education every three years.  Six of these hours must be in the area of judicial ethics.  GR 26 (b) requires that judicial officers attend the Washington State Judicial College within twelve months of initial appointment or election to the judicial office.  GR 26 (d) directs judicial officers to report their progress toward meeting judicial education requirements by January 31 of each year.

The following judicial officers did not meet the three-year continuing judicial education requirement of 45 credits, of which six are ethic credits, pursuant to GR 26 (a).
