(1) Beginning 01/01/2011, petitions for distribution of property from committed, marital-like relationships are filed in the domestic relations case type under the "Committed Intimate Relationship" cause of action. Previously, these cases were filed as civil "Meretricious Relationship" cases. Any associated custody and parentage matters continue to be filed as a separate case.
