Domestic & Sexual Violence Committee

The Domestic and Sexual Violence Committee oversees the Gender and Justice Commission's work on court system response to gender based violence, including updates to judicial resources on these issues.
Pursuant to E2SHB 1320, the Gender and Justice Commission convened stakeholders to develop recommendations to the legislature and the courts regarding civil protection orders. Those recommendations were released in June 2022:
