Office of Public Guardianship


Mission

The Office of Public Guardianship (OPG) is committed to supporting public guardians and conservators (aka: contractors) and clients of the program. Our mission is:

  • Fostering the success of CPGCs in their role as decision-makers by providing fair compensation, continuing education/training, and a forum to collaborate, share ideas/resources, and discuss challenges and problem-solve.

  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of each individual by providing monitoring and case management support.

  • Reducing court costs/caseloads and preserving individual liberty by providing access to less restrictive alternatives.
