Impacts an Odyssey Court can anticipate during Planned Downtime

Impacted Item Details
New Cases Filed During Planned Down Time
  • If you receive new case filings after 12:00 p.m. on the Fridays noted in the table above, you will need to manually assign case numbers and document the case title or parties and case number as they are assigned. This will ensure the correct case number is assigned to each case when the case is added in Odyssey.
  • Marcea Basham, Denise McCartan, Trina Wendel, Tim Kinney, and Jennifer Shannon will document the last case number used in each of your case number pools as of the beginning of the planned downtime on each Friday noted in the table above (there's no need for you to track this - they will get the next sequence number from your case number pool configuration). They will send you forms to use for documenting the case numbers assigned during the remainder of the planned downtime.
  • Counties open during lunch should have their forms by 12:15 p.m. on the Fridays listed in the table above. All others will have their forms no later than 1:00 p.m. on those dates.
Judge Edition Judge Edition 2017 will be unavailable from 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday until 8:00 AM on Sunday. See the dates above for the Friday and Sunday dates for each event.
Odyssey Portal
  • Users will not be able to access information in the Portal during the planned Odyssey downtime.
  • A message to that effect is placed on the Portal home screen approximately 2 weeks before each Go-Live event.
